Yacutinga Lodge & Wildlife Nature Reserve is located on the Iguazú River in the northeast of Argentina, 30 miles upriver from the Iguazú Falls. You are completely surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle while traveling through the heart of the Iguazú National Park to reach the Lodge. As the Nature Reserve is surrounded on three sides by over 6 km of the Iguazú River, the final leg of your journey to the Lodge is by boat. The Lodge can be reached easily from Puerto Iguazú (Argentina) or Foz do Iguacu (Brazil).

All rooms have an intense view of the surrounding Jungle that cannot be communicated in words. There is no television and no fridge or luxury features. rooms feature very comfortable beds, 100% cotton linen, immaculate rooms, a porch area with exceptional viewing of the jungle details. If you are lucky you will see hummingbirds or perhaps a few agouties jumping around. It is common to have a cream-backed woodpecker nesting close to your room, and several other natural phenomenae, which are not included in any hotel star-ranking system. At night, there are also lighting bugs, owls and of course, the impressive Milky Way.

Torches and fireplace are lit at sunset. Magic takes over and this Monte Misionero can be enjoyed in all its splendor and wisdom.
